Shamu Garçon Cajun Dance Party

Arrive early for a 30-minute dance lesson before the music starts. You’ll learn the basic moves for the Cajun two-step, waltz, and swing. Then dance to live music by Shamu Garçon, a Cajun dance band bringing the sounds of Louisiana to North Carolina.

Get into the Christmas spirit with two favorite movies. Watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas” at 3 p.m. and “A Christmas Story” at 4 p.m.

The League of Extraordinary Bellydancers, who present bellydance shows with themes like Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Harry Potter, will be performing at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. And Marbles Kids Museum will be there helping kids create their own geeky crafts.

The Hanukkah fun on Sunday night starts at Apex Community Center, 53 Hunter Street, at 3 p.m., where kids can make their own chocolate and build their own menorahs, plus a lot more. Then the celebration moves to 220 North Salem Street, where there will be a fire show, music and treats.
