Anna here. Do you have a soft bed I can crash on? I don’t need much; just some love, good treats and walks.
I’m already house and crate trained and enjoy lounging around the house. I rarely bark and will let you know when I need to go out. I sleep all night in my crate without any accidents. I get along fine with other dogs but I don’t show a big interest in running around with other dogs.
The folks here guess that I’m about 11, but a lady never tells her age. I enjoy walks with my foster family and we usually walk 1/4-1/2 miles a few times a day. I’d like to go further but they always tell me it’s time to head home.
I really enjoy people, especially the small ones who like to pet me. I can stand there forever as they stroke my fur. I like bouncing my tennis ball and can entertain myself with my toys.
Don’t worry that I am heart worm positive. It’s treatable and not contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center has provided a $350 sponsorship to help start heart worm treatment. My Foster Mom said she’ll donate another $100 to help my new family with the treatment.
My foster family is falling hard for me so you better email them soon at [email protected] and come meet me. I heard them telling their other dog ‘why can’t you be as calm and sweet as Anna.’
Adoption Information: Anna is from the Wake County Animal Center and is in a foster home. Please contact her foster Mom at [email protected] to see if Anna might be the right fit for your home. Her adoption fee is less than $100 and includes spaying and all necessary vaccinations.
