Saturday, March 31
2 p.m.
The Scrap Exchange, 2050 Chapel Hill Rd, Durham
This will take a little bit of explaining. Hebocon is a robot sumo-wrestling competition for those who are not technically gifted. During this competition, crappy robots that can barely move gather to engage in odd, awkward, hilarious battles. There will be a Hebocon competition on April 21 at the DIY Fest at The Scrap Exchange. To get you ready to compete, there will be three free Hebecon workshops at The Scrap Exchange where you can learn how to build and battle these robots. You do not need to have any experience to participate. This is the first of the three workshops.
