On May 22, 2021, you can show off your superpowers by joining the Superhero Scavenger Hunt and using time-traveling portals around Raleigh to get clues from famous historical figures.

Form a supreme team with your friends, family, and coworkers as you help save the planet on this high-tech, citywide scavenger hunt created by event planning company, City Scavenger!

Designed as a socially distanced, outdoor experience, the Superhero Scavenger Hunt will guide you through the city as you uncover secrets from famous figures in history and solve puzzles to defeat the supervillains. All you need to participate is a smartphone, a sense of adventure, and a willingness to discover your inner hero—though costumes are highly encouraged.

“The Superhero Scavenger Hunt was created as a way to safely gather for an outdoor event while bringing the community together. It’s an entertaining adventure that blends the search of a scavenger hunt with the adventure of a ‘whodunit’ mystery,” said Chief Creative and Event Producer, Steve Tishman. “City Scavenger uses proprietary technology to layout a virtual board game across the city, engaging Superhero Teams of two to six participants as they explore various sites. Virtual historical figures will test your knowledge and creativity before providing clues to help stop the Sinisters. Teams earn points for each completed challenge, and bragging rights and medals are awarded for the highest score, best-costumed team, and most creative team name.”

It takes 2.5 to 3 hours to save the world in the Superhero Scavenger Hunt, which is designed for teams of 2-6 Galaxy Guardians and Teen Titans (adults and teens). Tickets are available for $60 per team with a $2.50 ticketing fee. If you have any Child Prodigies (kids under 12) who would like to join the fun, they can participate for free. Raleigh teams can begin any time between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM on May 22nd, but all Superheroes must manage to stop the Sinisters by 4:00 PM.
