Gov. Roy Cooper announced on 9/22 that starting Oct. 2 event venues can increase their gathering capacity up by 7%
Under this new announcement, “large outdoor venues that can seat at least 10,000 people, including stadiums, would be able to open to 7% capacity starting next week.”
This also follows by his Phase 2.5 set to expire on October 2 as well. “Under Phase 2.5, gyms, bowling alleys, playgrounds and museums were allowed to open to the public with restrictions. More than two weeks after the state lifted those restrictions, the state has not seen an uptick in cases, emergency room visits for COVID-like symptoms, or the percentage of positive tests.”
