HUMANS. Nail salons are back open!

I am a DIVA when it comes to my manicures. I always always have long, coffin shaped acrylics, so my stubby quarantine hands broke my heart in half. But I’m back bb. I went to Lush Nail Bar in Raleigh and omg. Like. OMG.

I am pretty picky with what salon I go to, so I did a LOT of online research. I am the kind of person that likes to have a place and only go there. I moved here from Jacksonville and that was efffffffing impossible. I had one lady cut open almost all of my fingers then look at me and say “you bleed easy, huh”…like literal nightmare fuel. So I’m pretty skeptical when a place looks as nice as this one. When I saw their Instagram, I literally thought it was too good to be true. I looked through their tagged photos, their reviews, yelp, google, everything. They’re just ACTUALLY that good.

For appointments (bc ya know, covid) they give you a specific appointment time so no one is waiting around inside. You can’t bring anyone unless they are also getting a mani/pedi/wax. You must wear a mask. They have dividers between you and your nail tech. You wash your hands as soon as you enter.

The woman who did my nails was Q (who I think is the owner!) and she’s a beautiful angel. She was SO sweet and friendly and my nails look B O M B. She asked for a reference picture and she had actually done the ones in the photo I pulled up. My nails are literally perfect. (They look slightly different because I get a different shape but the design is exactly the same and my mind is blown). Plus the prices are so good. 10/10 I found my place.
