North Carolina to close restaurants and bars for dine-in customers
Governor Roy Cooper has ordered that all dine-in customers at restaurants and bars are to come to a halt. However, they are allowing takeout and delivery operations to continue. The executive order will also include an expansion of unemployment insurance to help North Carolina workers affected by COVID-19. This order is has been effective as of 5 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
