Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with a bungee jump station, lots of hands-on science activities, speakers, solar observing and more, both inside and outside of the museum.

At this celebration of North Carolina history and food there will be a BBQ contest and a pie contest, as well as costumed interpreters demonstrating historical cooking methods, crafts, games, live music, a kids’ area and more.

Before the movie there will be a meet and greet with Batman, Wonder Woman and Spiderman. There will also be a children’s superhero parade and costume contest, but everyone is welcome to show up in their superhero costume.
