The scheme involved students trying to attend top colleges.
According to court documents at least 40 people are charged in a $25 million college entrance cheating scheme.
“This case is about the widening corruption of elite college admissions through the steady application of wealth, combined with fraud,” said U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts Andrew Lelling.
Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud.
