Are you afraid to go to the bathroom alone? Or perhaps you are scared to go into the other room, even though you were just there? If so, Steiner is your man!
He is very loving and affectionate, and will follow you everywhere to make sure you are okay. Steiner loves to sit in your lap, but if he must sit beside you, then he enjoys sitting upright like a little human – so goofy!
Steiner loves his canine foster sisters and plays well with other dogs. He has great manners and listens well, but has no real concept of personal space (LOL).
Steiner is young (~1.5-2 years old), a perfect medium size (~55 lbs), and has medium-high energy. He LOVES to play fetch and run around outside or wrestle with his foster sisters. Steiner knows “drop-it” and “leave-it” and other commands like “sit”, “lay-down”, and “stay”. He is such a smart boy!
Sadly, Steiner hasn’t had the best start in life. Steiner came into a shelter banged up with a broken leg. They believe he was hit by or tossed from a car. A good Samaritan found him in a snow filled ditch. On top of his broken leg and all the bumps and bruises from the car accident, poor Steiner also had mange. After 2 surgeries and many baths, Steiner is completely healed. Even with his bad luck, Steiner remained as sweet and loving as ever! He is going to make the perfect addition to a very lucky family!!
