8th Annual Oktoberfest in Durham

Durham Oktoberfest was rescheduled because of weather. Enjoy it this Friday. This annual celebration features pretzels, schnitzel and brats for sale. Music and dancing by the Little German Band.

This is another event that was rescheduled to this weekend because of bad weather. It’s a huge event that includes rides for a fee, and free entertainment all weekend. The rescheduling has it coinciding with the free Shindig Music Festival, which features Scythian, Yarn Jon Stickley Trio, and many more bands.
Free Family Saturday at CAM Raleigh

This Free Family Saturday celebrates the exhibit “Above the Rim.” There will be basketball activities for all ages on the half-court basketball court inside CAM created by Filipe Pantone, Monster Dunks, free food by KIND Snacks and NC State Howling Cow Ice Cream, dance performances by Raleigh Rockers, art activities for all ages, music and more. They’re collecting food and supplies for Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina in support of hurricane relief efforts. Please bring paper towels, cleaning supplies and canned soups.
