Triangle Wind Ensemble’s American Celebration: Salute to the Cinema
On Sun. evening starting at 7pm, the Town of Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre will host Triangle Wind Ensemble’s American Celebration: Salute to the Cinema, featuring a musical salute to veterans, plus music by James Horner (The Perfect Storm), Bill Conti (Rocky), John Williams (E.T., Star Wars) and some favorites from Disney films.
Cary’s Memorial Day Remembrance
Join the Town of Cary for a ceremony in remembrance of those who have served our country. The ceremony will feature speakers from the Town of Cary and local armed forces community support groups. Speakers include retired USMC Sergeant Major Paul Berry, Retired Navy Veteran and Junior Vice Commander-elect for Cary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7383 Tom Baker and retired Navy Veteran and American Legion Cary Post 67 member Frank Stancil.

Carolina Mudcats

Celebrating its 11th season, the Thursday evening Midtown Beach Music Series at North Hills is popular with event goers from around North Carolina, hosting over 125,000 guests throughout the 18 week season.

Willie Nelson, Allison Krauss, Delta Rae, Sturgill Simpson and more will be performing live at Coast Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek as part of the Outlaw Music Festival.

In what has become a popular summer favorite, the Movies by Moonlight series returns to the Koka Booth Amphitheatre for another stellar season. Patrons can bring a blanket or chair as the spacious lawn at Booth Amphitheatre is transformed in to an outdoor movie theatre.

The Cary Theater will be screening special movies this Memorial Day weekend like Platoon on Thurs. at 9:30pm along with No Time for Sergeants on Sat. at 7pm.
