Record stores around the Triangle
Record stores throughout the nation are taking part in Record Store Day, when special releases are made available for purchase. That part isn’t free, but some record stores have special events going on as well. At Schoolkids Records in Raleigh, meet Kooley High and get an autograph, watch a performance by Why We Are Here Orchestra, and get swag from from Starr Hill Brewery.

Fish for free at this event. No fishing license needed. There will be workshops on how to cast, how to fillet a fish, how to hammock camp, how to hang a bear bag, how to paddle a canoe and much more. Try samples of grilled fish and even win prizes.
