White Street, Wake Forest
They’re closing the streets in downtown Wake Forest for this BBQ festival. It’s free to go to the festival and enjoy the live music by Johnny Orr Band, Matt Phillips and the Back Pocket and CROSSOVERDRIVE, and watch the cooking demos. For $10 you can be a taster and judge.

Four storytellers will be performing. There will also be refreshments. If you’d like, bring a snack to share.

The second Sunday of the month Steel String Brewery hosts an afternoon of music. It’s free, but there’s a suggested $10 donation for the musicians. This Sunday they’re having a double header: Bourbon & Butter and Lace Quartet.
