Former Carolina Hurricanes forward Erik Cole has joined with the Me Fine Foundation to provide critically ill children a suite for all Hurricanes home games for the remainder of the 2017-2018 season.
Cole played in 557 games with the Hurricanes. He signed a ceremonial contract with the Canes prior to his retirement from the NHL so that he could retire as a Cane. Since his retirement, he’s served as Hurricanes team ambassador.
The Me Fine Foundation provides financial and emotional support to over 1,400 critically ill children and their families in hospitals across North Carolina.
